Cuban Updated, Prezi Resources, and More….

I mentioned last night that Larry Cuban is working on a follow-up to the article that we read for last night.  Here are the two links to his blog posts on the topic:

  1. Computer Use in a High School (1999-2010): Progress or Regress?
  2. Progress or Regress at Los Montanas, Part 2

Also, I’ve compiled a list of Prezi resources, including a few by teachers and about teaching in a classroom:

Prezi would be a great tool with which to remix your philosophy statement (hint hint).  I also forgot to mention that Prezi has a “Meeting” mode, which allows people (students, teachers, etc.) to collaborate together on a Prezi.  I made sure to include a few examples and tutorials on how this works in the resources.  I’ve also set up my Prezi from last night ( so that you can make a copy of it and see how I put it together.

Lastly, I thought some of you might be interested in this interview tonight (February 22), which is with John Seely Brown, who wrote the introduction to the Collins and Halverson book:

These interviews are usually pretty interesting, and the recording of it will be available in a day or two.

Nice job in class last night, and may the force be with you.
